The record indicates Chas Brinson was a 4-year-old white male who was born in Mississippi. The next family listed is a Benson family. Because Charles' family name was spelled correctly I don't think this next family is a Brinson family. Delilah Brinson and family are listed 2 pages previous. This is probably Charles A' grandmother Delilah Slater. There is also a Thomas Brinson family on that page. I'm not sure how they are related. This is the schedule for free inhabitants. There is a separate slave schedule in 1860.
According to the 1860 U.S. census Chas A Brinson lived in Lawrence County, Miss. Post office was Monticello, Miss. He was a 4-year-old white male. His birthplace was Mississippi.
He is listed on Schedule 1 Free Inhabitants stamped page 63, penned page 951 at line number 26, dwelling 408, family 409. The name of every person whose place of abode on the first day of June, 1860 in this family were Chas, 40, Mary, 8, Willis, 6, and Chas, 4.
