I think this was the correct Frances Strakos even though her birthplace is listed as Russia. The granddaughter provided the information to the census taker so she may not have known Frances' birthplace. Also the status of the Czech Republic was in flux around this time. I think Agnes Kocurek (Smith) was the daughter of Joe R Kocurek and Mary Strakos (Kocurek). Mary Strakos (Kocurek) was the daughter of Phillip Strakos and Mary Pokluda (Strakos).
No other Strakos family is listed on the same census page, or on several pages before or after this one.

Her amount of money wages or salary received, including commissions, was $0. She did receive income of $50 or more from sources other than money wages or salary.
She is listed on penned page 9B in supervisor’s district 14, enumeration district 7-1, at line number 64, household 190. Residing in the household were head Frances Strakos, 79, grand-son-in-law Bowen Smith, and granddaughter Agnes Smith. Agnes furnished the information to the census taker.
